Khaberni - The Jordanian citizen Hatem Al-Amoush launched the "Jar" project, which is an innovative idea that traces its roots back thousands of years. It is based on preserving natural organic foods inside specially designed pottery jars to maintain quality and taste without using any preservatives, based on studies and practical experiments that extended for more than two years.
The project relies on two types of pottery: red clay imported from Morocco, and locally made white rock clay. These potteries have been internally treated with natural beeswax to ensure a healthy and safe environment for food preservation.
The jars are manually filled with the finest products coming from various regions of Jordan, Palestine, Syria, and Iraq, including extra virgin olive oil from the West Bank and Afrin, grape molasses from Hebron, date molasses from Iraq, traditional red tahini, golden tahini from Sudanese sesame seeds, in addition to apple cider vinegar and pomegranate molasses from Ajloun, and pure sesame oil.
Hatem Al-Amoush, the founder of the project, affirms that "Jar" is not just a means of food preservation but a complete experience that revives the heritage of the ancestors and enhances the values of authenticity, health, and sustainability, within a vision that combines quality and antiquity.
