Due to a serious incident Chelsea fined 150000 sterling

Khaberni - Press reports revealed that Chelsea Football Club was fined 150,000 sterling prior to its match against Crystal Palace, tomorrow Sunday, at Stamford Bridge, as part of round 23 of the "Premier League" competition.

The British newspaper The Athletic said: "The independent regulatory committee of the English league financially penalized Chelsea with 150,000 sterling, due to a bottle being thrown towards the Aston Villa bench after the two teams' match last December."
It added: "The committee that imposed the financial penalty on Chelsea described the incident as very serious, confirming that it was fortunate that the bottle did not hit anyone."

At the same time, Chelsea admitted the charge, but the identity of the person responsible for throwing the bottle has not been identified, as revealed by the newspaper.

The match during the "bottle" incident ended with an Aston Villa victory over Chelsea 2-1 on December 27, 2025, at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea Football Club is currently ranked sixth in the English league standings, with 34 points.
