Khaberni - Media figure Khaled Fares Al-Quraan (Abu Mohammad), one of the most prominent radio voices in Jordan, has passed away following a severe heart attack early today.
Khaled Al-Quraan, born in Zarqa in 1964, was a remarkable figure in Jordanian media with his distinctive voice and impactful presence, having a career that spanned over 25 years. He graduated from Yarmouk University in 1989, starting his journalism career with "Yarmouk Weekly Press" before joining the Jordanian Radio in the 1990s, where he presented prominent broadcasts and shows including "Live Broadcast", "Good Morning", "Jordanian Landmarks", and "Dialogue with an Official".
He served as the head of broadcasters at Jordanian Radio (2007–2018), supervised Irbid Radio, and participated in establishing youth programs on Radio Amman FM. He also contributed to producing documentaries for Al Jazeera, and covered important international conferences such as the Davos Forum and the Arab Women Summit.
He received several advanced training courses at the BBC and Deutsche Welle, which honed his skills and cemented his status as one of the pillars of media in Jordan.
With the death of Khaled Al-Quraan, Jordanian media loses a sincere and genuine voice, and a mentor to generations of journalists who learned the true meaning of professionalism and commitment from him.
