The film, simply titled "Melania", is an exceptional documentary as it follows the First Lady during the crucial 20 days leading up to Trump's inauguration for a second presidential term in January 2025.
Khaberni - In just two succinct words full of support, US President Donald Trump described the new documentary that discusses his wife Melania Trump's life, saying: "It's amazing".
This statement fueled enthusiasm for the work produced by "Amazon," which is scheduled to be shown soon, highlighting the other side of the First Lady behind the scenes of power.
A hard-to-get ticket
During his discussion with journalists aboard "Air Force One," Trump acknowledged that he had not yet seen the final version of the work but confirmed that the clips shown to him left an impressive impression. Trump linked the success of the anticipated film to the success of Melania's previous memoirs, which topped the bestseller list, noting that the special screening of the film at the "Kennedy Center" has become the most sought-after event in Washington, where he said: "Everyone wants to attend... It's a ticket hard to get."
The work provides an unprecedented look behind the walls, featuring scenes of Melania with her son Barron, as well as capturing intimate encounters and significant moments involving the presidential family with officials and influential figures.
The controversial return of "Brett Ratner"
Apart from the family aspect, the choice of director Brett Ratner to lead the work sparked a whirlwind of questions in the film circles. This move marks an official return for Ratner to the limelight after a hiatus since 2017, following allegations of sexual misconduct, along with his controversial mentions in the "Jeffrey Epstein" files. Melania herself participates in the project as an executive producer, giving it the "official narrative" with a bold cinematic touch.
Showtime
The film is set to launch through the "Amazon MGM Studios" platform on January 30th of this month, amid expectations that it will achieve record viewership numbers, given the sensitive timing coinciding with the onset of the new presidential term.
