The Meteorological Administration indicated that Sunday and Monday would see a gradual increase in temperatures, recording higher than average, with weather mostly sunny to partly cloudy, relatively cold over the mountainous highlands, and slightly warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba areas. The winds will be moderate southeasterly, becoming active at times on Monday, which may stir dust in the desert areas.
The Administration warned of the possibility of fog formation on Sunday morning over the mountainous highlands and plains, which could lead to reduced horizontal visibility, in addition to the need to be cautious on the roads.
Relatively cold weather will prevail on Tuesday, especially over the mountainous highlands, with low clouds appearing in the north and central parts of the kingdom, while the weather tends to be slightly warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba areas. Temperatures will noticeably drop at night, turning the weather very cold in most regions.
A significant drop in temperatures will occur on Wednesday, with cold and partly cloudy to cloudy weather, and rain showers are expected in the north and central parts of the kingdom and parts of the southwestern regions, occasionally accompanied by thunder. The weather will remain very cold at night, with continued chances of scattered rain showers and fog formation over the mountainous highlands and plains.
The Meteorological Administration warned of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust, especially in the desert areas, and from the danger of fog formation at night and in the morning over the mountainous highlands and plains, emphasizing the need to exercise caution and attention while driving on roads experiencing rainfalls.
