Khaberni - The Shiite Coordination Framework in Iraq announced on Saturday evening the nomination of former Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki for the position of Prime Minister, according to what was reported by the Iraqi News Agency.
The Coordination Framework stated that al-Maliki was nominated as the candidate of the parliamentary block with the highest number in the Iraqi Parliament, in preparation for his assignment to form the government according to the constitutional requirements.
