AlMuayta The Islamic National Party and the Islamic Action Front Committed to Changing Their Names

Khaberni - The head of the Independent Election Commission, Musa Al-Mu'aytah, stated that the Islamic National Party and the Islamic Action Front have submitted modifications to their internal regulations to comply with the party law, and to align with the prohibition of naming parties on a religious basis.

Al-Mu'aytah, speaking through "Al-Mamlaka" on Saturday evening, clarified that "the Islamic National Party and the Islamic Action Front have submitted modifications to the internal system of the parties to align with the law against naming parties on a religious basis."

He explained that Article 5 of the party law stipulates that parties cannot be founded on a religious, sectarian, or regional basis, affirming that all parties will comply with the law in naming themselves appropriately.

He noted that all parties responded to the request of the Independent Election Commission to align their names and internal regulations with the legal requirements.
