Khaberni - The Palestinian Police said on Saturday that more than 31,000 travelers moved through the Al-Karama crossing last week, while the police detained 45 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
According to the Palestinian Police, the number of people leaving the Palestinian territories for Jordan last week was 11,339 travelers, while the number of travelers arriving from Jordan to the Palestinian territories was 19,855 travelers.
The police described the movement of travelers as active.
During the same period, the Palestinian Police arrested 45 individuals wanted by the judiciary and prohibited from travel, either while they attempted to leave through the crossing or as they were monitored upon their entry into the Palestinian territories, who are wanted in cases pending before the courts and the public prosecution.
