Khaberni - Gold prices rose in the local market today, Saturday, registering a new record high, according to the pricing issued by the General Union of Goldsmiths and Jewelry Trade.
The price of 21-karat gold, the most sought after by Jordanians, reached 101 dinars per gram for selling purposes at goldsmiths, compared to 96.6 dinars for buying.
The price per gram of gold in 24, 18, and 14 karats for selling purposes at goldsmiths reached 115.30, 89.70, and 70.10 dinars respectively.
