Khaberni - Google launched a few days ago, an innovative experimental feature within its smart assistant Gemini, named "Personal Intelligence".
This feature allows linking four of Google's main applications: "Gmail, YouTube, Google Search, and Google Photos" with the smart assistant, enabling it to collect and analyze user data to provide customized answers and search results.
Personal intelligence enters Google Search
Recently, Google began rolling out a version of the personal intelligence feature directly into the artificial intelligence mode within Google Search.
Users will be able to link their accounts in Gmail and Google Photos with this mode, which operates on the new artificial intelligence model "Gemini 3", to benefit from the personal context of each user in providing more customized and accurate search results, according to a report from the technology news site Mashable.
For example, when shopping for new sports shoes, the artificial intelligence mode can use the personal intelligence information to determine if the user has recently purchased from a specific brand, then suggest new designs from the same brand.
The feature can also use Google Photos to analyze the user's vacations and suggest suggested trip plans for their next holiday, making the search experience more interactive and suitable for personal interests.
Google confirmed that users' personal data is never used to train artificial intelligence, but rather its function is limited to answering only the user's specific questions.
Additionally, activating this feature is entirely optional, ensuring the user's privacy and ease of controlling personal information.
Experimental launch in the United States
In the next few days, users in the United States will be able to try the feature within the Google Labs program, Google's center for experimental artificial intelligence features.
The use of the artificial intelligence mode for this feature will be limited to subscribers of the paid Google AI Pro and AI Ultra packages, while the feature is currently only available for personal Google accounts, and not for Workspace accounts intended for business, institutional, or educational use.
