Khaberni - Dina Al-Bashir, a Jordanian Member of Parliament, reaffirmed her absolute rejection of any form of displacement and renewed her commitment to the steadfast national position led by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, a supporter of the three no's, as a guarantee to preserve rights and constants.
This was stated in a clarification to the public through her official page on social media following comments and excerpts of her intervention regarding facilitating the entry processes of Palestinian brethren into the kingdom via the King Hussein Bridge which were circulated on some social media pages.
Al-Bashir indicated that the entry of Palestinians into Jordan is managed through governmental regulatory decisions, involving advance reservations via authorized electronic platforms, such as the Gateway2Jordan platform or Jet Company platform, in addition to completing the necessary official documents, aiming to regulate the movement of transit.
She explained that her intervention focused on the significant pressure on these platforms currently, due to the large number of people heading to perform Umrah, which has resulted in the inability of some humanitarian cases, especially sick individuals needing urgent medical appointments and university students requiring completion of academic procedures, along with other living necessities.
Al-Bashir confirmed that all applications submitted via official platforms remain subject to the approval of competent Jordanian authorities, while at the same time appreciating the efforts made by these authorities.
In a related context, she emphasized the constancy of her previous positions, noting that she has called on multiple occasions for medical exemptions for Jordanians and comprehensive health insurance, believing in the justice and importance of these demands.
