Khaberni - The weather expert and presenter of weather forecasts on Saudi television, Hassan Karani, has passed away after a career spanning decades, during which he was a constant presence in the memory of the local viewers, according to colleagues in the media and his son.
Karani retained his presence in the memory of many Saudis, becoming a familiar face who appeared on the news broadcasts to recite the contents of the weather news, before he slightly stepped back from the spotlight and then decided to return again through "X", where his presence was notably celebrated.
The deceased had appeared through the 4 pm news bulletin on Al Arabiya channel for years, and at that time said: "I launched my account on social media and was happy with the spread of meteorological information," recounting some moments from his extended media career.
For his part, Abdullah Al-Jazea, former Vice President of the General Authority for Meteorology, confirmed that the deceased Hassan Karani was among the pioneers of presenting weather forecasts on Saudi television, benefiting from his experiences as a meteorologist.
Karani is considered one of the most prominent pioneers who contributed to the development of weather broadcasts and their presentation methods on the Saudi television screen, where his name was linked for many years to following weather conditions, distinguished by a calm and direct style, and his ability to simplify weather information for the audience, which made him a familiar face with wide trust among viewers.

He was famous for his closing phrase that became associated with his name: "Thank you for listening with best wishes," which remained a notable mark in the followers’ memory.
