Khaberni - The National Weather Service and American media, last Thursday, warned that millions of Americans are preparing for what could be one of the largest winter storms in the United States in years.
According to the American news network "ABC News", more than 120 million residents in the United States, or more than a third of the total population, could be affected by the end of this weekend. The "Washington Post" reported that the storm could pass over more than 3,000 kilometers across the country.
Storms and snowfalls are expected in the Southern states, parts of the Midwest, and the East Coast, expected to hit on Sunday including the greater New York area and the capital, Washington.
The National Weather Service warned of icy roads and dangerous travel conditions, stating that the combination of snowfall and winds could significantly reduce visibility on roads, potentially uproot trees, and possibly cause power outages.
