Khaberni - Media reports confirmed that the Real Madrid coach has settled the ongoing controversy in recent days regarding the future of Trent Alexander Arnold, expressing his full confidence in the player and emphasizing that he enjoys the support of the technical staff in the current phase, in an attempt to put an end to the escalating speculations about the possibility of him leaving the team during the upcoming summer transfer market.
The Madrid Zone account on X stated that the Spanish coach believes in Arnold's technical abilities, and what is rumored about his future does not reflect the official stance inside Real Madrid, indicating that evaluating any player always happens according to comprehensive sports criteria that take into account the team's needs and balance, rather than based on media or fan pressure.
In contrast, various media sources repeated different narratives regarding the situation of Trent Alexander Arnold, where reports indicated that the management of Real Madrid does not mind discussing financial offers that could reach around 40 million euros in order to agree on his departure, if they see that the deal serves the club's sports project.
Other reports also stated that Alvaro Arbeloa had a direct meeting with Arnold, during which he informed him that the player is not part of the long-term plans, and that the decision related to his future is due to purely sports reasons, away from any personal considerations.
According to what was reported in the media, Arnold's circle has already begun to study potential options and search for clubs that could be a suitable destination for him next summer, amid the uncertainty still surrounding his future role within the team.
The same sources clarified that the management of Real Madrid sees that the defensive level of the player has not been convincing, alongside a decline in his offensive performance compared to expectations, which led the club to open the door to the idea of allowing his departure if a suitable offer arrives.
