Pyramids FC Snatches AlFakhouri Deal from Al Ahly

Khaberni - Egyptian media outlets reported that Pyramids FC snatched the deal for the star of Al-Hussein Irbid club in Jordan, after entering into a bidding war to sign the young player who Al Ahly had long sought to sign.

Media personality Ibrahim Fayek clarified that Al Ahly began negotiations with Al-Fakhouri early on, and the player had a buyout clause in his contract worth $150,000. However, Al Ahly respected his Jordanian club and refused to exploit this clause, agreeing with the club's management to pay $300,000 to complete the deal.

Media personality Ahmed Shoubair stated on X that despite this agreement, Al-Hussein Irbid club decided to delay the contract under the pretext of awaiting a foreign offer, which opened the door for Pyramids, who made a tempting offer of up to one million dollars, according to what the Jordanian club informed Al Ahly: "If you want to sign the player, we have an offer from Pyramids of one million dollars."

He continued: "Despite Al Ahly's desire to sign the player, the club's management rejected this negotiation tactic, preferring to back out of the deal, allowing Pyramids to snatch the deal and finalize the contract with Al-Fakhouri, in a move that reflects the strength and strategy of the competing club in the summer transfer market."
