The deceased had previously been transferred to the intensive care unit, following a deterioration in his health after a gallbladder surgery, where he suffered complications affecting the heart, lungs, and kidneys, as announced at the time.
Abdul Karim bin Saleh Al-Mughrin is regarded as one of the most prominent figures in religious media in the Kingdom, known for his long career at the Quran Radio, where he presented impactful religious programs, most notably «Light on the Path» and «Fatwas», and he left a clear mark in the religious media scene.
The deceased will be prayed over today, Saturday after the 'Asr prayer at the Rajhi Mosque, with condolences to be held at the cemetery.
We ask Allah to envelop him in His vast mercy, settle him in His spacious paradises, make what afflicted him an atonement for his sins and an elevation of his ranks, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.
