Khaberni - The Union of Students at the Jordanian University issued a fiery statement, attacking the imposition of impossible conditions by the group for fee installment.
The Union rejected the decision, considering it a systematic exclusion of large segments of students, deprivation of students, and imposing conditions that offend the dignity of the Jordanian family by requiring proofs that are unworthy of a national educational institution.

In an unprecedented and dangerous precedent for the Jordanian University, a decision was issued that directly stabs at the rights of students by imposing impossible conditions on fee installment, treating students as suspects until proven otherwise, or as a burden to be discarded rather than supported.
What occurred is not "financial regulation," but a systematic exclusion of large segments of students:
Deprivation of those who benefited from royal grants, new students, postgraduate students, children of employees, children of Jordanian women, and the imposition of conditions that offend the dignity of the Jordanian family by demanding proofs that are unworthy of a national educational institution.
We state clearly and unequivocally:
This decision is unjust, cruel, and completely detached from the reality of the students.
Raising the installment rate means excluding thousands of students all at once.
Requiring no participation in social security and no commercial registry assumes that every family is financially capable.
Granting installment to one group while depriving another is a clear violation of the principle of justice and equal opportunity.
We ask the university administration:
• Are you intending to empty the university of its students?
• Are you forcing students towards withdrawal, debt, or humiliation?
• Or is the message clear: those who do not have the money have no place here?
We in the Union of Students at the Jordanian University consider this decision to be a declaration of open confrontation with the student body, and we reject it entirely, confirming that silence on it is a betrayal of the thousands of students who have placed their trust in us.
We hold the university administration fully responsible for any academic, social, or psychological consequences that will affect students as a result of these decisions.
And we declare explicitly:
• We will not accept the imposition of these conditions.
• We will not be false witnesses.
• And we will not allow the Jordanian University to be turned into an institution that drives away its children.
We demand an immediate and unconditional retraction of these decisions, and the opening of the installment door under fair, clear, and humane terms that preserve the dignity of the student and his family.
And if this approach continues, then the Student Union will use all its legitimate and escalatory tools to defend the rights of the students, and we will not retreat.
The university is for the students…
And the student is a red line.
