Revealing the Secret Behind Mohamed Salahs Refusal to Join the Saudi League

Khaberni - English press reports have disclosed the reason behind the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, a star of Liverpool FC, rejecting tempting offers from the Saudi Professional League and his insistence on staying with "the Reds".

Mohamed Salah attracted interest from the Saudi Professional League in the summer of 2025, but the transfer of the Egyptian star from Liverpool did not materialize.

Last month, press reports spread that the Liverpool winger is still on the radar of several clubs in the Saudi league, with both Al Hilal and Al Qadsiah appearing as potential destinations.

The English "BBC" network stated that Mohamed Salah chose sporting ambition over money, noting that if money were the deciding factor for Salah, he would have already left "the Reds" for the Saudi Professional League, which until recently believed they could convince him to join the Middle East.

The English network confirmed that the financial lure to move to Saudi was very clear, and returning to the Arab homeland for one of the greatest and most famous Arab players in history carried many dimensions in terms of symbolism or the economic power of all involved parties.

It noted that Mohamed Salah would have earned at least 500 million pounds in Saudi Arabia, an extremely substantial amount, and confirmed that the option to move to the Roshn League was first presented to Mohamed Salah last February, and it is likely that this door remains open in the future.

Yesterday, "The Telegraph" reported that the Saudi Professional League association inquired about the possibility of signing Salah during the current transfer period, but this did not receive any support.

Mohamed Salah has a valid contract with Liverpool until 2027, so there is a reasonable cause for the Egyptian to remain after also hearing rumors about his move to the American league this year.
