Khaberni - The "Al-Dahini" tribe in Jordan and Palestine announced in a tribal statement the tribal divorce and the lifting of social, familial, and ethical protection from four of its members, describing their actions as "behaviors unbecoming of manliness and allegiance, and damaging to the tribe and its stances".
The statement that reached Khaberni, states that this decision comes after verifying actions "that do not represent the tribe or its traditions", related to their dealings with the occupation during the assault on Gaza, stealing aid, and acting in ways that serve the occupation and harm the resistance, which the tribe considered "a betrayal of its values, customs, and firm stance".
The statement fully disowns the aforementioned individuals and considers each of them "responsible for himself before God and people", and they should not claim affiliation with the tribe or speak on its behalf or use its name in any social, legal, or administrative matter.
It added that the tribe "absolves itself before everyone from any consequences or results that arise from the actions of the mentioned individuals", urging adherence to national and religious values in such circumstances, and firmly rejecting any violation against the Palestinian people or their resistance.
The statement was signed by the tribal elders and the heads of the Jerash Governorate in northern Jordan.
