Khaberni - Today, US President Donald Trump expressed his happiness and pride in his role in "saving" the app "TikTok," as he described it, in his first comment on the Chinese company ByteDance's announcement of a final agreement that averts a US ban.
Trump wrote on his platform "Truth Social": "I am so happy that I contributed to saving TikTok! It will now be owned by a group of great American patriots and investors, the largest in the world, and it will have an important voice."
He added: "Alongside other factors, this was responsible for my strong performance in securing the youth votes in the 2024 presidential elections," adding: "All I wish is that TikTok users and lovers remember me for many years to come."
Trump continued: "I thank Vice President JD Vance, and all the members of my administration, who helped bring this deal to a dramatic, final, and very beautiful end."
And he concluded, saying: "I would also like to thank President Xi Jinping, the President of China, for his cooperation with us, and his final approval of the deal. He could have taken a different stance, but he did not, and we appreciate his decision."
