An unusual technical glitch in iPhones caused several users to be late for their work appointments, after their phone alarms stopped emitting any sound, despite being set in advance to specific alert tones.
According to circulating complaints, the iOS system sometimes automatically changes the alarm sound to the “None” (no sound) option, which leads to the alarm going off on time but in complete silence, leaving the user deeply asleep without any alert.
How can you make sure your iPhone alarm is working?
To avoid this embarrassing situation, users are advised to open the “Clock” application and review all recorded alarms, ensuring the “Sound” option is set to an actual tone, and not “None”.
