Khaberni - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Thursday that he had reached an agreement with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, on American security guarantees after the war, which is a key issue in devising a plan to end the war with Russia.
Zelensky said after meeting Trump in Davos that the matter of security guarantees “has been accomplished,” speaking in English to reporters.
He added, “Both parties, the presidents, must sign the document, and then it will be referred to the national parliaments.”
He mentioned that the issue of the territories claimed by Moscow in eastern Ukraine “has not yet been resolved” in the negotiations to end the war.
Zelensky pointed out that “everything revolves around the eastern part of our country. Everything revolves around the territories. This is the problem we have not yet solved.”
