Conflicting Reports on the Dynamic Island in iPhone 18 Pro

Khaberni - Reports unveiled a significant confusion regarding the fate of the "Dynamic Island" in the anticipated iPhone 18 Pro, amid conflicting claims about the position of the selfie camera, and the clarity of the Face ID sensor components, in addition to the size and location of the island itself.

A recent report indicated the possibility of the upcoming device completely foregoing the dynamic control unit.

A reliable source intervened to clarify the situation, stating technically that Apple's ultimate goal is to conceal both the selfie camera and the facial recognition system components underneath the screen, to achieve a fully continuous screen, a vision that was referred to by Jony Ive, the former head of design at Apple, describing the device as "a single piece of glass".

In related news, technical analyses confirmed that it is easier to hide the facial recognition feature than the selfie camera, due to Apple's absolute refusal to compromise on image quality, leading to expectations that this step would be taken first.

In this regard, "The Information" reported that the iPhone 18 Pro would take this initial step, which means using only one opening for the selfie camera, and even suggested the possibility of moving the camera to the left side of the screen.

Despite technical notes suggesting that Apple would not need Dynamic Island if these reports are true, some opinions expressed strong hopes for its preservation.

On the other hand, "Instant Digital" revealed that these reports were originally based on a mistaken translation, displaying an image that shows the selfie camera remaining in the middle of the screen, with a smaller opening designated for some components of the Face ID system.

According to the latest data, the selfie camera will remain in the middle of the screen, continuing to have a visible opening designated for it and the facial recognition feature, although it will be smaller in size compared to current models, with the Dynamic Island feature remaining unchanged.
