Khaberni - The Jordanian Ambassador to Egypt, Amjad Al-Adailah, met with the Governor of Cairo, Dr. Ibrahim Saber, where they discussed Jordanian-Egyptian cooperation in the fields of urban development and local management.
The Governor of Cairo, during the meeting, emphasized the historical depth of the fraternal relations between Egypt, Jordan, and the Kingdom, which have been flourishing and evolving to become a distinguished model of Arab joint cooperation.
The meeting addressed ways to activate the terms of the friendship and cooperation agreement signed between the Cairo Governorate and the Greater Amman Municipality in 2015, as a practical framework to enhance institutional cooperation and exchange experiences at the level of local administration. The sides also stressed the necessity of exchanging expertise and experiences in the fields of infrastructure, local services, urban management, adaptation to climate changes, and improving the quality of life in cities.
In turn, Ambassador Al-Adailah affirmed Jordan's commitment to the solid relations with its sister nation Egypt, guided by the leadership of both countries and followed up by their governments, emphasizing the aspiration to enhance the partnership and expand its horizons between the Cairo Governorate and the Greater Amman Municipality, within the fruitful coordination and cooperation among Jordanian and Egyptian official institutions in various fields.
