Khaberni - Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of the American president, said on Thursday that the United States has achieved significant results in terms of peace in the Gaza Strip over the past 100 days.
Kushner added during the inauguration ceremony of the Gaza Strip Peace Council, on the sidelines of the Davos Forum, that the residents of the Gaza Strip need job opportunities, and he confirmed that his country will work to provide the necessary opportunities to improve their lives.
He emphasized the commitment to restore security in Gaza, to provide essential services, and to maintain human dignity, pointing out that the effort will continue to disarm the Hamas movement according to an ambitious plan.
Kushner clarified that plans have been made to develop the Gaza Strip in stages, indicating that contributions from countries in rebuilding the sector will be announced during a conference to be held in Washington.
He affirmed that the ultimate goal is to achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinians, calling for a new chapter to be opened in the Middle East.
