Khaberni - The area around Al-Qubba Roundabout in the Irbid governorate, northern Jordan, experienced a temporary security alert today after a report of an abandoned bag at the site, which later turned out to belong to a citizen on his way to perform the Umrah pilgrimage and had forgotten it before leaving.
The security forces imposed a precautionary cordon in the area as a preventive measure, and specialized teams handled the inspection of the bag, which was found to contain only personal belongings. A security source confirmed that the situation returned to normal after verifying that the bag posed no danger, urging citizens to be vigilant with their personal belongings in public places.
