Khaberni - The name of Egyptian artist Mahmoud Hegazi topped the search engines after his wife filed an official complaint against him accusing him of beating and dragging her, causing injuries to the face and eye and bruises in various parts of the body.
Rana Tarek, the wife of actor Mahmoud Hegazi, stated in her complaint that her husband severely beat her and then dragged her on the ground following disputes between them. She underwent a forensic examination to prove her injuries, while images of her face showing the injuries spread on social media.
"A malicious complaint"
A circulated medical report revealed that the wife sustained several bruises on her nose, forehead, arm, left eye, and shoulders. Moreover, she requires examination by an ophthalmologist to determine the extent of the eye injury.
For his part, Mahmoud Hegazi denied beating and dragging his wife, in statements to local media, affirming that his wife’s complaint was merely a malicious complaint against him.
Hegazi added that his wife filed this complaint aiming to harm him and escape with their son abroad, which he does not allow, asserting that he will take all necessary legal measures to preserve his rights and the rights of his son.
It is worth mentioning that Mahmoud Hegazi had a previous marriage with Asma, the daughter of artist Sherif Mounir, from whom he separated after disputes between them.
Mahmoud Hegazi participated in a variety of popular series including "Wanoos", "Abu Al Arousa", "Kafr Delhab", and "Hagar Gohanam". Currently, his series "Beit Baba" is being aired.
