Goals for Liverpool were scored by Dominik Szoboszlai (45+1), an own goal by Marseille goalkeeper Pau López (72), and Cody Gakpo (90+3).
Liverpool increased their points to 15, placing them in fourth position while Marseille’s points remained at 9.
