Trump Announces Framework Agreement Regarding Greenland and Freezes Tariffs

Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump announced setting a framework for a future agreement regarding "Greenland Island", following what he described as "very productive meeting" with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

President Trump explained that this framework agreement is not limited to Greenland only, but actually includes the entire Arctic region. He considered that if this solution is finalized, it would be a "great achievement" for the United States and all NATO countries.
In a shift related to trade policy, Trump revealed that based on this new understanding with the NATO Secretary General regarding Greenland, he would not impose the tariffs he had been threatening.
On the defense front, the American president disclosed ongoing discussions about a project named "Golden Dome", concerning Greenland.
This announcement revisits Trump’s former ambitions toward the island under Danish sovereignty, but this time through the gateway of NATO and the integration of defense and trade roles.
