Khaberni - His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, met today, Wednesday, with Nadia Calviño, President of the European Investment Bank, to discuss ways of expanding cooperation for the implementation of several projects in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, His Highness appreciated the Bank's support for Jordan in carrying out vital projects, especially the desalination and water transport project from Aqaba to Amman (the National Water Carrier Project).
The Crown Prince also held separate meetings with CEOs, founders, and representatives of global companies, discussing ways to open new prospects for cooperation and exchange of expertise, which will enhance economic and investment growth and contribute to the development of digital skills in Jordan.
The meetings also reviewed the investment advantages in Jordan, such as technical infrastructure services, and training programs that support youth and equip them with the necessary technical and technological skills in the job market.
The meetings were attended by the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zina Toukan, the Minister of Investment Dr. Tariq Abu Ghazaleh, and the Director of the Crown Prince's Office, Dr. Zaid Al-Baqaeen.
