Khaberni - The Ministry of Local Administration has directed the municipalities to intensify their efforts within the national campaign for afforestation and greening in all municipal areas of the kingdom tomorrow, Thursday, as part of a comprehensive national plan aimed at planting more than 250,000 trees during the current year, to expand the green area and enhance the vegetation cover in various provinces of the kingdom.
The Ministry confirmed that the campaign, which was launched at the beginning of this year, is in alignment with national directions aimed at protecting the environment, mitigating the effects of climate change, and achieving a sustainable environmental impact, in addition to supporting local sustainable development efforts.
