Khaberni  - German coach Alexander Nouri has decided to start a new stage of his life away from football, after a full 4 years of distancing himself from the coaching field.

The Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported that Nouri, 46 years old, recently took on his new job managing two famous restaurants.

It explained that Nouri, who was an outstanding coach in the German league years ago, began in January this current year working at two restaurants belonging to the McDonald's fast food chain in Hertzsprung Rat, a small town in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Regarding this, it commented, "Nouri temporarily set aside the tactical board in order to fully dedicate himself to his new job. He decided to make a radical change in his life and change his career path in search of greater stability in his personal life."

About his new job, Nouri said, "Ultimately, both roles involve bringing people together—players in football, and staff in the restaurant."

He added, "The basic principle is the same, you must understand who is in front of you and what motivates them, and what they need to perform their best."

Nouri had distanced himself from coaching in 2022 after an unsuccessful stint with the Greek team Kavala, which ended that season at the bottom of the standings.

Nouri's Best Moments

Years before, Nouri experienced the best moment of his coaching career when he saved his childhood club, Werder Bremen, from relegation in the 2015-2016 season.

In that season, Nouri led Werder Bremen to avoid defeat in a series of 11 matches, achieving 9 wins and 2 draws that kept the team in the top league.

During his coaching career, Nouri coached several teams including VfB Oldenburg, Werder Bremen Youth, Werder Bremen, Ingolstadt, Hertha Berlin (as assistant and then interim coach), and finally Kavala.

Nouri retired from playing football in 2011 after a career spanning 13 years, and obtained his coaching license from the European Football Association in 2016, alongside his compatriot Julian Nagelsmann, the current coach of the German national team.
