Jerash Municipality Installing 10 Cameras to Monitor Environmental Violations  Photos

Khaberni - Jerash Greater Municipality has begun installing (10) specialized cameras for monitoring environmental violations on its vehicles and machinery, on directions from the head of the Jerash Greater Municipality Committee, Pasha Muhammad Bani Yasin, as part of the executive program of the cleanliness strategy aimed at reducing the phenomenon of random waste dumping and enhancing compliance with environmental and communal behavior. The project is in line with the vision of economic modernization through the integration of governmental institution efforts aimed at environmental protection. 

Bani Yasin affirmed that this step comes as part of enhancing field supervision and improving institutional performance through adopting modern regulatory tools that contribute to the effective control and treatment of environmental violations, which positively reflects on the cleanliness of the city and its civilized image.

Bani Yasin explained that the cameras will work to document any environmental violations issued from the municipal vehicles, which ensures the application of instructions and current regulations fairly and transparently, and enhances the culture of compliance and discipline. 

Bani Yasin emphasized that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility and that the municipality is continuing to implement its environmental strategy with practical steps and strict monitoring to preserve the scenic appearance of the city of Jerash and its civilizational and tourist status.
