Khaberni - Fathi Jaghbeer, president of both Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, stressed the significant importance of the military consumer markets in absorbing national products, highlighting the key role they play in providing food security in the kingdom and the high demand these markets experience from all citizens, both military and civilian. He explained that the industrial sector looks forward to more cooperation with the institution that would contribute to increasing the presence of national products in its markets.
During a meeting held in the Amman Chamber of Industry building on Wednesday, attended by the Director General of the military consumer institution, Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Hadid, Engineer Jaghbeer praised the significant development witnessed by the markets of the military consumer institution in terms of market expansion, organization, as well as the addition of new services, emphasizing that the chambers of industry value the cooperation of the institution's management in resolving the obstacles facing the entry of Jordanian products into its markets, as well as the institution’s commitment to attracting national industrial companies to ensure the presence of their products in its markets.
Brigadier General Al-Hadid affirmed the institution's commitment to having national industries in its markets, due to the significant role that the national industry plays in supporting the Jordanian economy, especially since Jordanian products are of high quality and enjoy great demand from citizens, noting that national industries are widely popular and their products occupy a significant portion of the institution’s markets spread across the provinces of the kingdom.
Al-Hadid explained that the military consumer institution works to achieve economic and social security for citizens by providing them with necessary supplies at reasonable prices throughout the provinces, mentioning that according to statistics from November 2025, the sales of the military consumer institution constituted 40% of the total local market sales, indicating the institution’s readiness to discuss any obstacles facing Jordanian industrialists in entering its markets.
The meeting addressed a number of issues concerning Jordanian industrial companies regarding the markets of the military consumer institution.
