Khaberni - A security source said that two children died and three other people from the same family were injured, following a fire that broke out today, Wednesday, inside a residential apartment in the Jabal Al-Joufeh area in the capital governorate of Amman.
The source clarified that the specialized firefighting teams in the East Amman Civil Defense Directorate dealt with the fire that erupted inside an apartment located on the second floor of a residential building, where the flames were extinguished and controlled.
The source added that the fire resulted in the death of two children at the scene, while the injured were transported to the hospital to receive necessary treatment.
The source confirmed that an investigation has been opened by the relevant authorities to determine the causes that led to the outbreak of the fire.
