Khaberni - The Business School at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan achieved a new international academic milestone by obtaining official accreditation from the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for its Accounting, Financial Technology, and Business Intelligence programs for a period of five years.
The University President, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali, stated that this achievement reflects the university's vision of excellence and leadership. The global ACCA accreditation of the Business School mirrors Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan's commitment to providing high-quality education that meets international standards and enhances the university's reputation in global academic and professional circles, reaffirming the university’s ongoing support for all faculties to achieve the highest levels of accreditation and quality"
In turn, the Dean of the Business School, Professor Dr. Abdul Razzak Shuhada, highlighted the direct impact of this accreditation on students, noting that this accreditation is not merely a quality certificate, but a gateway that enables our graduates to compete in the global job market. It provides them with a streamlined path to obtaining the international professional certification and exemptions from its exams, thereby enhancing their professional readiness in the fields of accounting and financial technology”
He explained that the specialized committee from (ACCA) conducted a comprehensive review and field visits to the university, during which it reviewed the curricula, the efficiency of the academic staff, and the educational environment, before deciding to grant official accreditation to the three programs.
This accreditation enables students to bypass several professional exams required, supporting their faster progress towards global ACCA membership, and opening up broad career prospects for them in major companies and financial institutions locally and internationally.
It is worth mentioning that the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), headquartered in the United Kingdom, is globally recognized as the leading professional body for the accounting profession, renowned for its professional excellence and meeting the evolving needs of the job market.
