Khaberni - Over the past days, amidst the battles in Northeast Syria, the activist Mohamed bin Hassan became known for filming the battle proceedings and uploading them to social media, just like any other activist. However, one video clip set everything ablaze.
"Violations by SDF"
The young man appeared with an Arab scarf, asserting that the video he was capturing would be his last, due to his mother’s pressure on him and her demands for him to return home for fear of his life amidst the clashes in Raqqa.
The young man did not know that the phrase: "My mother shook the world.. come home, come home.. manage on your own.. let someone else film for you," would become one of the most famous quotes among Syrians.
In an interview with "Al Arabiya/Al Hadath," he revealed that he captured the video spontaneously, as he was documenting the moments when the Syrian army entered Raqqa, but a sniper from "SDF" began targeting civilians, which panicked his mother and made her call him demanding his immediate return.
He explained that he tried to capture the video several times without success, as his mother’s calls interrupted the moments of documentation.
He also confirmed that his work during that period was confined to covering the violations of the Syrian Democratic Forces, from plundering resources, destroying infrastructure, to recruiting youth and minors.
He emphasized that all these documentations were done in complete secrecy and under pseudonyms, fearing arrest.
Regarding his demands, he stressed that he wants a participatory normal life that does not differentiate between Arab and Kurd, where competition is only for academic seats, confirming that all Syrians are brothers in their homeland.

It is noted that the young man had become a hero on social media with his simple Raqqa words, his phrases circulated across platforms, becoming the talk among Syrians.
The Syrian presidency had earlier confirmed on Tuesday that a mutual understanding had been reached between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces on several issues, following days of fierce clashes and negotiations.
