Khaberni - Stemming from Amman Arab University's belief in the importance of social responsibility and its educational role in society, the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences conducted a workshop titled "The Role of Kindergarten Teachers in Modifying Child Behavior Inside the Classroom", presented by: Dr. Feryal Al-Haj Mahmoud and Dr. Mervat Al-Amri, faculty members at the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, at the "Hello to Fun Model Nursery" in Zarqa Governorate.
The workshop discussed several key topics, among which were: discussing the role of kindergarten teachers as role models for children in the nursery, the role of a positive classroom environment in developing children's social and emotional skills, in addition to presenting some effective strategies for behavior modification, emphasizing the need to provide a classroom environment supportive of positive behavior, enhancing the positive relationship between the child and the teacher, promoting a culture of dialogue and understanding, and focusing on the mental health of the child in kindergarten.
At the end of the workshop, the nursery management and teaching staff expressed their thanks and appreciation to Amman Arab University represented by the Faculty of Educational and Psychological Sciences for this constructive cooperation through the holding of educational and training meetings, affirming the importance of continuing this cooperation and benefiting from the experiences of its faculty members in their various specializations and diversity.
