Minister of Transport Discusses Enhancing Partnership with the Engineers Syndicate in Implementing Various Transport Projects

Khaberni - Minister of Transport Dr. Nidal Al-Qatamin met with a delegation from the Engineers Syndicate, led by the chief of the Syndicate, Eng. Abdullah Ghosheh.
During the meeting, the prospects of cooperation between the Ministry of Transport and the Engineers Syndicate were discussed, as well as ways to enhance institutional partnership in implementing various transport projects, and the importance of qualifying and training engineers in engineering specialties related to transport sectors, including air, road, and rail transport, alongside emphasizing the need to align engineering education outputs with labor market needs and requirements of future national projects.
The Minister confirmed during the meeting the ministry's keenness to expand cooperation with the Engineers Syndicate, given its pivotal role in supporting strategic transport projects and building qualified engineering cadres capable of keeping up with development and modernization plans in the transport sector.
For his part, the chief of the Engineers Syndicate stressed the importance of integration between the public and private sectors, and the role of the Engineers Syndicate in many issues concerning economic and social development, as well as the importance of transport and traffic in the engineering system, and the role of the Syndicate in specializing in transport and traffic.
He mentioned that the Syndicate is looking forward to enacting many legislations aimed at developing the Syndicate's role.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief of the Syndicate Eng. Ahmed Al-Falahat, the Head of the Civil Engineering Division Eng. Malek Al-Alwan, the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Division Eng. Mohammad Al-Ababneh and Dr. Rana Al-Imam, head of the Transport and Traffic Specialization Interview Committee.
