Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump revealed that $19 billion was stolen in the United States from programs designed to assist immigrants.
Trump told NewsNation, "We have at least $19 billion in stolen funds. I believe that number will actually be much higher."
Trump added that these incidents occur in California and other American states.
It is worth noting that many measures were launched under the strict immigration policy announced by President Trump as soon as he took office on January 20, 2025.
Trump vowed in his first speech after his oath of office to "immediately stop the infiltration of illegal immigrants" and "begin mass deportation operations for millions of foreigners in the country illegally," and he declared a national emergency due to the situation on the southern border.
In addition to many other measures, notably one announced by the U.S. Department of State about "launching a widespread review and audit campaign affecting 55 million U.S. visa holders."
