Khaberni - "Star of Pure Land" is considered the largest sapphire in the world, and its owners have announced they are ready to sell it. Gem experts estimate its value between 300 and 400 million US dollars.
According to the Associated Press, this unique sapphire is owned by "Star of Pure Land," which bought it along with other gemstones in 2023.
It is worth noting that the sapphire was found near Ratnapura in Sri Lanka, known as the "City of Gems." Sri Lankan sapphires are famed for their brilliance, purity, and unique color.
The "Star of Pure Land" sapphire is considered the largest sapphire in the world and features a "star" phenomenon; a glowing star with six rays appears on its surface when it is exposed to light.
