Khaberni - Social media users circulated a video clip attributed to the Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, in which she appeared in patient apparel, lying on a medical bed crying bitterly, which sparked a wave of inquiries about her health condition.
The story began following a post by the Egyptian media personality Salma El-Dali, who condemned what she described as a violation of patient privacy, questioning who leaked this content from inside the medical facility, which some followers perceived as reflecting the artist's true living conditions.
Upon closer inspection of the video, it was determined to be generated using artificial intelligence (AI) and not an actual recording. The video had undergone precise digital visual processing to make it look like a leaked real-life scene.
This was also confirmed by many followers and experts in their responses to the circulating posts, aimed at deceiving the audience and creating new rumors about the artist's personal life.
