Khaberni - The Associated Press reported that the American aircraft carrier "Abraham Lincoln" crossed today the Strait of Malacca, connecting the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean, heading towards the north of the Arabian Sea and the aircraft carrier is expected to reach the Middle East within 72 hours.
Reports indicate that the American aircraft carrier disrupted the Automatic Identification System (AIS) during its entry into the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean, which is a customary operational security measure.
The New York Times reported last Saturday, citing US officials, that the aircraft carrier "Abraham Lincoln" and several accompanying ships are moving from the South China Sea to the Middle East, expected to arrive within about a week.
This development follows a threat by American President Donald Trump to launch a military strike on Iran in response to its handling of the recent popular protests that erupted days ago rejecting the deteriorating living conditions of Iranians.
