Khaberni - The Greater Amman Municipality announced the launch of the "Building Licensing and Occupancy Permit" service, through the integration of various building licensing services with the occupancy permit within a unified electronic application, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, as part of the municipality's efforts to develop the electronic services system and enhance digital transformation.
The Municipality confirmed in a press statement today, Tuesday, that this service enables residents to dispense with submitting separate applications, such as an application for licensing existing additions, an application for a first-time existing building license, a revised plan license, or any other licensing application, in addition to the occupancy permit application, through the submission of one comprehensive application that covers all these procedures.
It clarified that this service supports the mechanism of setting an inspection date for the unified application instead of inspecting each application separately.
The Municipality also noted that upon completion of the application processes and fulfilling all the requirements, a document of both the building license and the occupancy permit is issued together, ensuring easy verification and data integration.
The Municipality emphasized that this step aims to simplify procedures, reduce time and effort for citizens, and improve the quality of the services provided.
