Khaberni - The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Tuesday that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, accepted the United States’ invitation to join the Peace Council, as announced by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed that the UAE's decision reflects the importance of fully implementing the 20-point peace plan, proposed by US President Donald Trump regarding Gaza, which is crucial for realizing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
He also reiterated the UAE's confidence in President Trump's leadership and his commitment to global peace, embodied in the historic Abraham Accords.
He also emphasized the UAE's readiness to actively contribute to the Peace Council's mission, and support cooperation, stability, and prosperity for all.
