Minister of Health Princess Basma Hospital in Irbid costs 100 million dinars

Minister of Health Ibrahim Al-Badour said on Tuesday that Princess Basma Hospital in the governorate of Irbid aims to provide advanced therapeutic and diagnostic services according to the highest accredited standards.

Al-Badour added during the inauguration by His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Princess hospital, that the hospital consists of 9 floors and includes 504 beds which can be increased.

Al-Badour indicated that the total cost of constructing and equipping Princess Basma Hospital was close to 100 million dinars, with joint financing from the government and the Saudi Fund for Development.

On his part, the director of Princess Basma Hospital, Ibrahim Al-Shahabat, said that the hospital is equipped with the latest technical and administrative systems that keep pace with the best global practices in managing and operating healthcare facilities, which enhances work efficiency and ensures the highest safety levels for patients and staff.

His Majesty King Abdullah II inaugurated on Tuesday the Princess Basma Hospital in Irbid, which is the second largest government hospital in the kingdom, and directed the government to establish a center for cancer treatment in it, similar to the Samih Darwazah Center for Oncology in Al-Bashir Hospitals.
