Khaberni - Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny is preparing for a new experience, announcing his return to the world of drama after a 12-year absence, in a step that coincides with an intense artistic activity he is currently witnessing in both the cinematic and musical fields.
Tamer Hosny explained in television statements that he is currently preparing for a new series alongside a movie that is under writing, confirming that both projects are still in the early stages of preparation, and expressing hope that they will be well received by the audience when presented.
The last dramatic appearance of Tamer Hosny was through the series "Fark Tawqit," which was shown in the Ramadan season in 2014, and then achieved a wide public resonance, with the participation of several art stars, including Ahmed El Saadany, Dhafer L'Abidine, and Mai Selim.
On the cinema front, the movie "Restart" is currently being shown in theaters, starring Hana El Zahed, Mohamed Tharwat, Essam El Sakk, Mimi Gamal, and Bassem Samra, and directed by Sarah Wafiq. The film presents a comedy template, depicting the story of a young man who works as a mobile phone maintenance technician, who strives to achieve his dream of marrying his beloved, before his pursuit of money and fame leads him to unexpected adventures.
Moreover, Tamer Hosny continued his musical presence through the release of the album "Lina Mo’ad," which included a collection of diverse songs, among them Halal Feek and Habibi Taqalan, along with artistic collaborations with several singers, notably Reda El Bahrawy, the Syrian artist El Shamy, and the festival singer Kazabri.
Recently, Tamer Hosny returned to his full artistic activity after overcoming a health crisis, having undergone urgent surgical intervention for the removal of part of his kidney. He appeared in good health during his last concert in the city of Sixth of October, and also held two concerts in December, one of which took place at Abdeen Palace for the benefit of "Ra’ei Misr" foundation, with its proceeds dedicated to supporting the most needy families, amidst wide audience interaction and messages of support and prayers for healing.
