Khaberni - Government data released on Tuesday showed that the average annual consumer price inflation in Saudi Arabia rose by 2% during 2025 compared to the previous year.
The General Authority for Statistics attributed the increase to rising prices for housing, water, electricity, gas, and other types of fuel by 6.1%, and the growth of food and beverage prices by 1.1%, due to their increasing relative importance.
The general index for the change in the average annual consumer price index reached 103.6 in 2025, up by two percent from the recorded figure in 2024, which was 101.5.
