Khaberni - A student at one of the primary schools in Al-Qaim, Iraq, suffered severe injuries from a traffic accident that occurred while he was heading to take his exams on Sunday morning.
The incident began when the student tried to flee from a group of stray dogs that blocked his path, leading to a sudden collision with a passing car on the main road.
Reports indicated that the critical condition of the student necessitated immediate transfer to the hospital for necessary medical care.
The accident resulted from the panic that struck the child due to the dogs' pursuit, which made him lose focus and pushed him towards the path of vehicles.
The school administration has called on the relevant authorities to provide a safe environment for students during their commute to and from educational institutions, to prevent such tragic incidents from recurring.
