Everyone survived and the rescuer left A brave climber lost his life while searching for his lost friends

Khaberni - A hiking trip in the mountains of Riverside County turned into a human tragedy after one of the climbers died while trying to rescue his friends who got lost in a rugged mountainous area, while the rest of the group survived.

According to the sheriff's office officials, the hiker's body was found late Saturday night, several hours after launching a widespread search operation around highway number 74 in the Anza region, following a report about a number of missing hikers, according to "New York Post"

Missing hiker
The details of the incident go back to the morning of the same day when a group of hikers started an early trip before four of them were late returning. As anxiety escalated, one of the group members decided to go out alone to search for them, but he too did not return.

At 8:26 PM, the police received a report of a missing hiker and immediately started a search operation involving the aviation unit of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, as well as mountain rescue teams, who began combing the difficult terrain.

The rescue teams succeeded in finding the four missing hikers and saved them safely, where they were transported to the Lake Hemet mountain station for medical examinations to ensure their health conditions.

Avoid disclosing the identity
However, the search did not stop there; the teams continued their operations to find the hiker who went out alone in an attempt to rescue his friends, where he was found by the rescue teams hours later near the bottom of a rocky cliff about 150 feet tall, where his death was declared at the scene.

The Riverside County Coroner's Office took over the investigation of the death circumstances, while authorities refrained from revealing the identity of the victim until his relatives were notified.
